How we verify tirzepatide prices
The rules behind every number on this site, so you can judge how much to trust a given cell in a table.
Every price on this site has a source level and a check date. Direct provider pages outrank secondary indexes, which outrank reports; anything unconfirmed is shown as “verify”, never estimated. Monthly equivalents are plan total divided by plan months. Prices older than 45 days are flagged stale, conflicts are resolved in favor of the provider’s own page, and every change is logged.

What we record for each provider
Observed price by plan length; whether the price is a starter, ongoing or highest-dose figure; dose ceiling of the quoted price; term and auto-renewal; membership, consultation, lab and shipping fees; named pharmacy and its 503A/503B status; states served; the source URL; the observation date; and a confidence rating. Facts we could not confirm are stored as unknown and displayed as verify. NexLife’s figures are held in a machine-readable file (nexlife-pricing-2026.json) that every page is generated from, so a single number cannot be updated on one page and forgotten on another.
Calculations
- Monthly equivalent = plan total ÷ plan months. NexLife 12-month plan: $1,668 ÷ 12 = $139/month. We always show the month-to-month price next to it ($169) so a prepaid equivalent is never presented as a cancellable monthly price.
- All-in monthly cost = medication + membership + (consultation fees ÷ 12) + (lab fees ÷ 12) + shipping per shipment × shipments per month.
- 12-month total at maintenance dose = sum of monthly all-in cost across the titration schedule using each provider’s dose-tier prices where published; flat-rate programs use one price.
- Savings figures are stated against the same provider’s month-to-month price, never against a competitor’s starter price.
Stale-data rule
A price older than 45 days is marked for re-verification and shown with its original date until re-checked. A price older than 90 days that we cannot re-verify is downgraded to “reported”. We do not update a date without re-checking the figure.
Conflict resolution
When two sources disagree, the provider’s own page as read on the later date wins, and the older figure is retired from every page in the same build. When a provider shows different prices in different places (for example a promotional landing page and a checkout page), we publish the checkout price and note the promotion. Conflicts reported by readers are handled under the corrections process.
Archive
Each pricing page keeps a change log listing what changed and when. Retired prices are noted in the log rather than deleted, so a reader who saw an older figure can see when and why it changed.
Current verification dates
NexLife: August 25, 2026 (direct provider source). Other providers: July 11, 2026 (independent index, human-verified July 1–3, 2026, re-checked July 11). LillyDirect and brand list prices: July 2026, shown as ranges with a link to Lilly’s page because they are dose-specific and conditional.
